Cambridge Senior Muslims Group offers support, social activities, care and advice to elder Muslims in the community.  We are grateful to Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) to enable us to initiate this project in following His injunction:

“And that your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to thema word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And act humbly to them in mercy, and say, ‘MyLord, have mercy on them, since they cared for me when I was small.’” [Al-Qur’aan 17:23-24]
