POSTPONED

Rich - Poor Dinner
POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTCE.

Saturday 7th May at Milton
Community Centre, Coles Road, Milton, CB4 6BL, Cambridge.

What is a Rich - Poor Dinner?

According to United Nations Development Program, the economic elite
constitutes just 20% of the world's population, but possesses 80% of the worlds wealth. To reflect this injustice we will be serving two meals. 20% will receive 'rich person's fare' while 80% will receive a simple meal of the poor person. Just as one does not choose where or into what family one is born, so will rich and poor be randomly selected. The evening will encourage you to think about the injustices in our world and to make a commitment to contributing what ever you can to irradiating poverty and suffering where ever it may be. May you be rewarded for your good intention and your generosity.

Also featuring an Auction of Promises in aid of Islamic Relief Orphan Fund.

Doors Open 6.30pm. Dinner served at 7.00pm sharp!
Tickets: £10 (Adults) £5 (children)
