1. Girls Youth
Group
Al-Noor Girls Group will meet weekly on
Fridays from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. It aims to
provide a safe, Islamic framework for girls aged 11 plus to come
together and learn more about each other and Islam, whilst enjoying sporting
and creative activities. Each session will cost you only 50p. Contact Srs.

2. Tuesday Ladies Islamic Study Circle
The Tuesday Ladies Islamic Study
Circle is open to non-Muslims and Muslims ladies who have an
interest in learning about Islam. The group meets at Coleridge Community
College each Tuesdays at 8.00pm to 9.45pm. |

3. Ladies Afternoon Club
A new "club" for Muslim
ladies. A few sisters meet biweekly to share cooking tips, show new
recipes, give advice, and spend time together. |

4. Swimming: Ladies and Girls
at the Leys School every Saturday 7.00pm-8.00pm. See the

5. “Women’s Own”
(formerly knows as Ladies Health Group) has been started
by the women for the women. This group endeavours to cater for the needs
of self development and learning which are present in every women of our
community but are mostly left ignored. We also offer aerobics classes
where women can exercise without having to mix with men. We meet once a
week for one hour of aerobics and one hour of a creative and learning
activity. We offer a place where you can find some time away from the
monotonous routine of your daily lives and have some time for your own
self development. |

Muslim Women's Slimming
Support
This is a support group for Muslim women in Cambridge who want to be
healthier, fitter, and help each other achieve their goals. For more

The Muslim Youth Helpline (MYH) operates a
free phone confidential telephone counselling and e-mail enquiries service
for young people in need. Some people are going through desperate
situations, whilst others are feeling lonely or confused. Common problems
that many young people talk about are drugs, feeling depressed, family and
friendships as well as issues related to sexuality.

Cambridge Senior Muslims Group offers
support, social activities, care and advice to elder Muslims in the
community. |

Racial Incident Support Project (CRISP)CRISP is a
project of the Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum at 62 - 64 Victoria
Road, Cambridge and has been running for a number of years. The objectives
of CRISP are to support victims of Racial Harassment and provide
confidential advice, assistance and counselling to victims of such abuse.
