==== 1. Emergency Appeal for Khalid who is very sick ====

Assalaamu-alaikum wa rahmatullah.

An Appeal

Sr. Juveria's son Khalid hasn't been well recently. About four months ago he
was admitted to a hospital in Middlesex. Doctors were unable to identify
exactly why he was so poorly.

After nearly two months in hospital and much confusion, upset and anger by
his family towards doctors' lack of assistance and neglect - (VERY long
story) alhamdulilah - Khaled was fit enough to return home where he stayed
for about six weeks.

His health has been slowly deteriorating. He has been vomiting frequently
and he has lost a lot of weight. He has recently been admitted into hospital
again - this time to Addenbrooke's in Cambridge. He was in a critical
condition as doctors re-tested him to try to find out exactly what was wrong
with him.

His mother Juveria has asked us to appeal to the Muslims of Cambridge to
support them in any way they can.

You can help by

* arranging a visit to Khalid / his family, or

* provide food for the family (one meal for four people per day)

* and continue making du'a for Khalid and his family

Contact Sr. Juveria directly on 07990966762

Contact Sr. Iman giving your name, contact number and stating whether you
would like to arrange a visit or food
Email: contact@CambridgeMuslims.info
Tel: 0871 242 9696. Please leave a message on our 24-Hour answer-phone
service.
Fax: 0871 242 9696

There is no need for financial support at this time.

MashAllah the Tuesday Ladies Study Circle have been excellent in providing
regular food for Khaled and his family throughout his time in the Middlesex
Hospital. She is extremely grateful for their efforts. Jazakum Allahu
khairan!

I appeal to any brothers and sisters - whether you know Khalid or not - to
visit him as he needs to as much support and encouragement as possible
through this illness.

He is an extremely friendly person and can chat to anyone! Also if any
sisters (particularly in the medical field) could support his mother by
visiting her and supporting her through this difficult time, she would
really appreciate it.

If you are not able to do any of these please continue making sincere Du'a
that Allah cures Khalid from this illness

Wasalam,

Elias Karim, News Editor, cmo@CambridgeMuslims.info
