This is a message from Sr. Iman
=== Emergency Appeal UPDATE #2 ====
Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu.
Regarding our muslim brother who is extremely ill in hospital, his name is
Yuniss Rgis. He's currently staying in Northwich Park Hospital, London.
C.C.U 9th floor. He will be transferred to Herfield Hospital when he is fit
for the operation
inshAllah.
At the moment, £17,000 has been raised (alhamdulilah more is coming in) and
has been paid to the hospital as a deposit. The operation cost is £25,000 so
we need to raise a further £8,000 inshAllah
***************************************************************************
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT DONATE ANY MONEY DIRECT TO THE HOSPITAL AS THEY
WILL USE IT tO PAY FOR THE "CARING BILL" FIRST, WHICH IS MOUNTING TO
£15,000 (ON TOP OF THE £25,000).
THE GOVERNMENT HAVE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THIS (called "Visitor's overseas
fund").
HOWEVER IF THEY INSIST ON THE PAYMENT OF THIS BILL AFTER YUNISS' OPERATION,
THEN INSHALLAH WE SHALL CONTINUE RAISING MONEY TO PAY THIS BILL.
****************************************************************************
The person to contact DIRECTLY regarding any donations is:
Mr Tohami Erreyad : Tel: 0208 759 3822
May Allah reward him for all his efforts
and please also pray for his son
who is also very ill. Doctors are yet to find the cause or cure for his
illness - mashAllah.
Wasalam
Sr. Iman
==== Emergency Appeal: Original Message ====
from Sr. Fatima and Sr. Iman
We have been informed about a brother who requires urgent medical
treatment. He is 37 years old with a wife and three children. He arrived in
England about a month ago to get a second opinion on his heart condition.
Unfortunately, he collapsed at Heathrow airport just as he arrived. He was
rushed off to hospital and since then the Muslim brothers and sisters in
London have been trying to raise money for a heart operation as his
condition has deteriorated.
Unfortunately, the money he brought with him from Morocco for scans
etc
is nowhere near sufficient as it also needs to cover medication,
accommodation in the clinic (Muslim brothers have tried to accommodate him
in their homes however after collapsing again he needs constant medical
attention). And the actual operation, which he was due to have on Wednesday
8th September. At the moment the Muslims in London have managed to raise
£17,000, however they need to reach a target of £25,000+ to cover the
increasing expenses of the clinic.
The brother is known personally to members of the SHURA Committee
of
Cambridge Muslim Community Services. If anyone would like to donate
directly, the Muslims in London have set up an account - donations big or
small are most welcome. Please donate for the sake of Allah to:
Slough Moroccan Parent Association
